HABITS WE ALL NEED MORE OF!
Good or bad…habits rule a large portion of our lives. From the snacks we reach for, to the thoughts in our heads, AND so much more.
Most of the time when I think of habits, I instantly go towards the negative ones that I need to ditch, but what about the GOOD habits we need to cultivate more of? That's a vibe I can get behind. More of the habits I love and less stress about all the things I need to change.
1. Self-care Sundays
You know those days when you're so busy taking care of everyone else that you forget to take care of yourself? Well, it's time to change that. Make Sundays your designated "me time." Run a bubble bath, put on a face mask, and treat yourself to a few guilt-free hours of relaxation. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later.
Action tip: Create a self-care Sunday (or any day) routine that includes your favorite activities, whether it's reading a book, doing yoga, or even just taking a long walk in nature. Whatever brings you joy and helps you recharge! We are here for more of that!
2. Tech-free hour
In this digital age, it's easy to get caught up in the never-ending cycle of notifications and constant online presence. But it's important to remember that there's a beautiful world outside of our screens too! Give yourself a tech-free hour when ever you need one to disconnect and reconnect with the real world. Use this time to do something you love, like journaling, painting, or even just having a heart-to-heart conversation with a loved one.
Action tip: Set a specific time each day for your tech-free hour and stick to it. Put your phone on silent or in another room, and focus on enjoying the present moment without any digital distractions.
3. Gratitude journaling
Gratitude is a powerful tool that can transform your mindset and bring more positivity into your life. Start a gratitude journal and make it a habit to write down three things you're thankful for every day. It can be as simple as a delicious cup of coffee or a kind gesture from a friend. By focusing on the good, you'll attract more of it into your life.
Action tip: Keep a small journal and a pen by your bedside table. Take a few minutes each night before you go to sleep to jot down your daily gratitudes. This simple act will help you end your day on a positive note and set the tone for a happier tomorrow.
