A Letter To The Women In My Life
I couldn’t let the month of March pass without acknowledging Women’s History Month and celebrating all of the women in my own life. 👯♀️
This is more than just a month, it’s a movement that spans generations and is fueled by the collective strength, resilience, and empowerment of women everywhere. It's a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions of women in all aspects of society, from the boardroom to the classroom, to the ones leading groups and the ones leading their homes. 🏆
If you’ve been around for a while, you know I believe there is something powerful about women and when we choose to come together, lift each other up, and amplify each other's voices there is truly nothing we can’t do. Let’s be bold, let's be fearless, and let's be unapologetically ourselves. 💖
I have taken some time to think about all of the impact they have made in my own life and here are the things I want to tell them: 👇👇👇
To the women who raised me, supported me, and grew with me: Thank you for your unwavering love, support, and sacrifice. You have been pillars of strength, an unending source of inspiration, and a safe space through life's ups and downs. Your unconditional love has allowed me to find my own way and shaped me into the person I am today.
To the women who have been my friends: You have supported me, encouraged me, and stood by my side through thick and thin. Thank you for your friendship, your loyalty, and your unwavering belief in me. You have been my rocks, my confidantes, and my cheerleaders, lifting me up when I fall and celebrating with me when I succeed. Your energy in my life is something that fuels me and I am so lucky to have the love and support you have shown me.
To the women who have challenged me: You have pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow. Thank you for your honesty, your courage, and your differing opinions. You have taught me to embrace change, to confront my fears, to strive for greatness, and to confront my own beliefs and decide what is best for ME. Your challenges have made me stronger, more resilient, and more determined to pursue my dreams.
To the women I have yet to meet: One day our paths may cross, and I want you to know I am open and excited for the opportunity to know you! Thank you for the lessons you will teach me, the perspectives you will share, and the impact you will have on my life. Whether our connection is brief or lifelong, I look forward to the opportunity to learn from you and celebrate the unique gifts you add to the world.
To the woman reading this: You are strong, you are capable, and you are worthy. Your voice matters, your story matters, and your presence makes the world a better place. Let’s celebrate our strengths, our accomplishments, and our resilience and let’s embrace our power and use it to create positive change in the world.
